Going to have to take a while to digest that one (no pun intended.) It's definitely a few degrees away from center; well-written, as always, and ripe with nuanced commentary. I just need a while to reconstruct the puzzle in my mind.

Good one, John. Well paced, very visual.

Proletariat the horse... Is this an adult, laboring class version of Gumby or did the Valium win out?

And when are we headed to Ireland??

Five times through, and I still find errors and sentences I'd re-write. Good god damn. I'm not sure how much of this I should put up here, but I might end up putting the rest of the first chapter up once it reads legigibly... Anyway, Ireland? Woman, call it. I'm there.

You always have grammar mistakes... I mean, always. I ignore these things NOW, but I cringe when I see them...

How about January? Gifts of money for Christmas and my current unemployment make for some excellent Ireland conditions.

Oh and, yes, put more up. I miss reading 'you,' you scrawny, cracked-voice New Yawker, you.

I think I need more 'yous.' You should really talk about ewes more often than you do, don't you think?

Finals. My head hurts.

The red hippo flies high over the meadow.

Expounded in ellipsis.
