You could just find a single red rose (long stemmed, of course), and plead that its perfection does not even come close to hers. *Pause* What am i saying? don't take any advice from me. i'm a v. day nightmare.

You have a talent with words that so few do... all you need to do is sit down and write.. write her a story, a poem, a letter... this girl likes things like that... things that take some effort.. anyone can go grab a box of chocolates.. but how many people can sit and write a 3 page letter from the heart? or a story that would make me laugh so hard I'm sacred I'll pee in my pants? Only you darling.. only you. Happy Love day. I'm stealing that from a friend of mine.. its not just about who your 'valentine' is.. its about sharing love with everyone you love. xoxo - Melinda

Your torture does not compare to the degradation of receiving an e-mail from your mother who says, "Oh honey, I bought you a Valentine's gift - please let me know when you can come out to pick it up..." I've tried to point out how this sentiment can create even worse symptoms of utter 'loserdom,' but she just doesn't hear me... Happy Valentine's Day just the same, Cowboy and hope you score. Err, I meant with the gift... yeah...

I'm with the other ladies here. A single red rose, and a handwritten letter - even if your writing isn't your best feature - on parchment, rolled and tied with a ribbon. It will impress, believe me.

I thought about giving a piece of advice (get her a rose! Girls love flowers! Ooh, chocolate will do the trick. Just write her a poem!), but then I realize, your fate is already sealed. It's February 15th. I have no doubt that you done alright for yourself and all is right with the world. Hell, knowing you, you could get her a bucket and she'd love it. Just make sure it's straight from the heart.

It's a month here. Not a day. Not a week. Not even a sentimental period of 10 days. + "All in $1" stores will do the trick. For only $10 you can get there..Well,10 things. Enjoy.
