I enjoy going to the movies alone, myself, depending on the movie. Never saw the Bridget Jones escapades, though. I imagine I'll wait until they come on late-night TV during some period in my life where I'm either home sick to watch them or I've regained enough freedom of time to actually WATCH television on a semi-regular basis.

that was the "good" alone you were talking about. Healthy-people kind of alone, that some would might fear, but will never cause too much harm..maybe a little boredom. there's a different kind of alone- the dark side of "alone",would be being alone when people are around you, when alone when you're suposed to be having friends but you no longer can trust their words, the kind of alone the wouldn't be creeping on you at night but will make the light to hurt in your eyes and wouldn't allow you to get out of bed.. because when people are around you..i wouldn't risk in going on and being even cheesier than that.. but for me the ord doesn't mean quality time at the corner diner with myself and a book,it means that everything sucks.

Hi. I found you through a banner ad, and wanted to let you know that I've enjoyed reading you. I, too, watch movies alone by preference rather than necessity. I think movies are bad social tools, anyway. If the idea of getting together with a friend or loved one is to interact, a movie theater isn't exactly an ideal locale for said interaction.
